Alternative folk music from Dave Stannard and the Box of Frogs

          Mr Dave plays the acoustic guitar and sings, he is accompanied by Mr Chris Found, who sits on a box and whacks it, and Mr Darren Butler who is an bassistist.
          They play energetic "rock-folk" with quirky, wryly amusing lyrics and punchy, dynamic guitar.
          While they sing and play, Dave dances around a lot and is good fun to watch (ie, a twit). He calls this "a performance"; most people agree.

    Box-o-Frogs, August gigs:

    • Tuesday 3rd - The Bitter End, Romford (free - onstage around 9.00pm)

    • Saturday 14th - Hoy and Helmet, Benfleet (free - onstage around 5.00pm)
      An all-dayer, in support of Help 4 Heroes
    • Saturday 21st - Golden Fleece, Chelmsford (free - onstage around 9.00pm)
    • Saturday 28th - Squealfest (£20 - we’re on in the afternoon at the acoustic stage)
      All-dayer, in support of the J’s Hospice, Chelmsford.

    Playing Chelmsford Fleece Sat 26th & Maldon Rosie Sun 4th

    Hello to all who came to the J-day in Chelmsford last Saturday; and stood around getting alternatively washed, then dried.  Was awesome to play on such a super stage, and for a good cause too - J’s Hospice.

    Next!   I’ll be unleashing my Mighty Box-o-Frogs on the following imminent occasions….

    Sat 26th June - Golden Fleece, Duke Street, Chelmsford - we play after 8.30
    Sun 4th July - Rose and Crown, High Street, Maldon - Help for Heroes all-day charity bash - playing at 5.45
